Silent Reading Program

Our new school wide silent reading program has been a real page turner! Our students have been booking it to the library and checking out all kinds of new adventures!  You can honestly hear a pin drop in the halls after lunch as students give their brains a workout and crush through those books!  More about the importance of reading here.

Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience

The conversation around screens and teens is being taken to the next level by filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston. SD73 parents and families will have an opportunity to watch his new movie, on-demand, between Nov. 26 and Dec. 13, 2020. The film explores the science behind the emotional challenges teenagers face, the interplay of social media, and how families and schools can help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age.  More information, along with the trailer, how to register is here:
