Scholarships / Bursaries

Barriere Secondary graduates are very fortunate to have wonderful community sponsors who generously donate to our scholarship / bursary awards so that our graduates have better opportunities to further their post-secondary education.  We thank these sponsors for their support!

Graduates are encouraged to apply for these awards.

Barriere Secondary (in-school) - Now open  - Due April 17th by 3:00 pm

Updates for Post-secondary education and scholarships & bursaries will be communicated through the new Cougar Pride Grad Newsletter published monthly, the bulletin boards outside the Counselling office and through this website. Keep checking for updates! While some community applications may already be open, the Barriere student scholarships for 2026 Grads will be updated with new applications by March 2026.

Also, remember to apply for entrance scholarships at the Universities you apply to.
